Privacy policy

This privacy policy explains what AI Radiologist collects, how it uses it, and how you can control it. We aim for the minimum data needed to run the service. We are not HIPAA covered and AI Radiologist is not a clinical service — please do not share data you would not be comfortable storing on a general information website.

1. Accounts

When you first open the app, we create an anonymous account for you on our server. This account has an opaque random identifier and a starting balance of free consultations. No email, name, or personal details are required.

If you later choose to add an email, you can — that gives you the ability to sign in on another device or recover your credits. Email is optional.

2. What we store

• Account: your anonymous user ID, optional email and display name, your credit balance, your country code (if you provide it), the date you accepted this policy.
• Chat content: messages you send and the AI responses, so we can improve quality, investigate abuse, and debug issues. If you upload an image, we log the fact of the upload and any caption but do not currently store raw image files on the server.
• Usage records: credit transactions (e.g. signup bonus, consultation used, purchase), timestamps, and the model/provider that answered.
• Security: login events, hashed IP addresses (never stored in clear), and a truncated user agent string.

3. What we do not store

• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not serve advertising trackers.
• We do not upload your phone's contacts, photos library, or camera roll — you choose which images to share.

4. Third-party AI providers

To generate responses, we send your messages to third-party large-language-model providers (currently DeepSeek; in the future possibly OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or on-device models). These providers process your prompt in order to return a response and may retain it according to their own policies. We do not send your account ID or email to these providers — only the message content.

5. Cookies

This website (the legal pages) does not set any cookies. The app itself stores your session token on your device using secure local storage.

6. Children

AI Radiologist is not intended for children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

7. International users & GDPR

AI Radiologist is available worldwide. If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with data-protection laws similar to GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Use the data deletion page or email privacy@medical.26.systems.

8. Data retention

We keep chat messages and usage records for up to 24 months, after which they are either deleted or irreversibly anonymized. You can delete your account at any time — see below.

9. Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will show you the new version in the app and ask you to accept it before continuing.
